Current Schedule
- Youth Sunday School for ages 3 to 19:
10:00- 10:45 am before Worship service in the Sunday School rooms downstairs
Curriculum focuses on youths (all levels) learning the stories of Jesus, his disciples and the Apostle Paul. The objective is to foster youths' acceptance of God's love, and to respond to God's calling for faithful followers.
- Sunday Seekers community study and fellowship:
Studies for the year starting September 9th to August 17th. We meet at 10:00am in the Community House.
September 9th to November 11th (10 weeks) - Exodus
(Cost of material: $10.00)
Pastor Joe will preach on the Exodus scripture used in the class.
November 18th and 25th (2 weeks) - Keeping Holy Time
(Cost of material: $20.00)
A book for the church year scripture reading. Please note: copies will be made if you don't want to buy the book.
December 2nd to December 23rd (4 weeks) - Advent
Will be the same book as the above.
December 30th to February 3rd (6 weeks) - Jesus' Parables of Grace
(Cost of material: $10.00)
Book will examine Jesus' thought-provoking parables
February 10th to March 16th (6 weeks) - By Water and the Spirit
(Cost of material: $12.00)
This is a study on baptism. Pastor Joe will be leading.
March 30th to May 11th (7 weeks) - Seven Last Words
(Cost of material: $10.00)
The study of the Seven Last Words of Christ after the resurrection. Pastor Joe will preach on the scripture.
May 18th to June 29th (7 weeks) - Covenant: God's Living Covenant
(Cost of material: $8.50)
In the Old Testament we will explore God's covenant and how they apply to Christian life today.
July 16th to August 1th (7 weeks) - Covenant: God's Project: Effective Christians
(Cost of material: $8.50)
The New Testament covenant and the meaning of Christianity thought the eyes of Paul.
If you want to do a session and can not afford the book, speak to Joan Sheffield or Pastor Joe. If possible, please pay something on the book. If anyone would like to donate toward a book let us know. To be a part of any or all of these sessions, let Joan Sheffield know two weeks prior to the start of a session.
