The people of Epworth United Methodist Church are privileged to be part of helping to bring about Christ's rule on earth. You may know that our Chicago Methodist church is home to a neighborhood after school tutoring program, a warming center for homeless men, and the Chicago Women's AIDS Project, in addition to several other community groups. We are committed to spreading the unconditional and inclusive love of Christ Jesus.

Epworth United Methodist Church participates in the Reconciling Ministries Network. All are welcome here! Whatever gender, race, economic status, sexual orientation, condition of ableness, etc., we greet you as a beloved child of God!

A part of Chicago's Edgewater, Uptown and Andersonville communities, Epworth UMC is conveniently located at the corner of N. Kenmore and Berwyn, just one block east of the Berwyn stop on the CTA Red Line, and easily accessible via the Foster, Broadway, Inner Drive, and Sheridan buses.

Also, make sure to check the What's New section for the latest announcements, information, and updates from Epworth.

Epworth UMC rejoices that the 65-bed men's shelter will remain on our campus. For 24 years, Epworth has hosted this overnight shelter as a vital part of our outreach to our Edgewater and Andersonville neighborhoods. We are pleased to be partnering with Cornerstone Community Outreach in this work in 2009. Find out how you can make financial contributions to this lifesaving work by calling the church office at 773-561-6422.
